Miko Belgira and Laura Marquez, both 5th graders in Mrs. Meneses' class, recently competed on the city wide level, in the Scripts Spelling Bee held at the Dalhart Jr. High School. Miko won first place after correctly spelling "chemical". Laura made it to the 19th round and placed third over all. Congratulations to Miko and Laura on a job well done.
