Welcome
to 5th grade!
Melissa Meneses is a new teacher to St. Anthony’s Catholic School
this year! She comes to us as a California native and has adapted
to Dalhart and its friendly community.
Melissa graduated from Hilmar High School in Hilmar, CA and earned
a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Stanislaus in
Business Administration: Strategy & Entrepreneurship. Although
her college education is business-focused, her spiritual education
has also been a significant part of her life. Melissa has taught
catechism to elementary (3rd-5th) children and taught Sunday school
at her previous parish, Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in
Turlock, CA. She was also heavily involved in liturgical ministry
for the English and Portuguese masses. Melissa was part of youth
groups growing up during her school years and continued being a
part of Young Adult Teams of Our Lady (YATOL) through college.
Melissa has been married just over a year to her husband Aaron
Meneses. They have made Dalhart their home and are blessed to be
part of a wonderful community!
Melissa hopes to inspire the students of St. Anthony’s Catholic
School and to remind them to always put God first!
