Star Lab Comes to St. Anthony's

The Star Lab, a traveling lab from the Harrington Discovery Center, made a stop at St. Anthony School. The children learned about the solar system and constellations in our galaxy. This lab presentation was made possible for the children of St. Anthony's by the Dalhart Area Foundation Grant, which funds many educational experiences in our area. read more

Miko Belgira Wins Local Jr. Spelling Bee

Miko Belgira and Laura Marquez, both 5th graders in Mrs. Meneses' class, recently competed on the city wide level, in the Scripts Spelling Bee held at the Dalhart Jr. High School. Emma Schartz Winner of Elks Lodge Drug Prevention Poster Contest

The Elks Lodge here in Dalhart recently held a poster contest in which students were asked to draw a picture about topics concerning drug prevention. Our own Emma Schartz won first place in the contest. Her prizes included a Savings Bond and a gift certificate to McDonald's. Congratulations Emma-we are so proud of you. read more
